The WORTH Center's approach is to address each residents criminogenic needs by offering individualized treatment to offenders. Through in-house services and community referrals, a resident driven treatment plan is developed to address issues for each individual.
THINK FOR A CHANGE
The WORTH Center utilizes a curriculum known as Thinking for a Change (TFAC). It is a cognitive intervention program from the National Institute of Corrections that has been researched and proven to be effective with criminal offenders.

EPICTETUS PROGRAM
The Epictetus Program is a detailed twenty session course in cognitive skill development. Epictetus club helps residents to identify high- risk criminal thinking errors and replace them with the correctives.
EDUCATION
Residents that possess a high school diploma or GED will be offered instruction to improve their basic skills. Any resident who does not have a GED or a high school diploma will be offered GED services.
Residents also have opportunities for educational programs that offer employment building skills and certifications. Residents will have the opportunity to develop a resume and improve employment readiness.

ELECTIVE PROGRAMS
CLEAN is a leadership program lead by former Ohio State and NFL players Antonio Smith and Roy Hall Jr.
The WORTH Center has been working with the CLEAN program for over 5 years. WORTH Center residents have the ability to receive onsite and offsite treatment from the CLEAN program. Turn your mess into a message! |
WOCAP PARENTING GROUPSWest Ohio Community Action Partnership (WOCAP) provides a class for male and female residents looking to further develop their parenting skills. This class prepares them to be positive and responsible community members upon their release.

TYRO LEADERSHIPTYRO Leadership teaches the life skills needed to be responsible parents, partners, better communicators and positive role models.

ANDRE NORMAN ACADEMYAndre Norman has been an advocate for the WORTH Center for over 6 years. The WORTH Center and Andre have partnered to reduce recidivism and have collaborated together at multiple ACA conference training workshops.

'MADE TO BE FREE' PROGRAM
The WORTH Center and Mr. Harvey have been working together for approximately one year. Johnny Harvey's “Made to be Free” Program establishes goals and objectives to becoming positive and productive role models for their families and communities.
